Choosing the right Sarkari exam for you
Different Sarkari exams suit different aspirants. For 12th-pass candidates: SSC CHSL (LDC, DEO posts), SSC GD Constable (CAPFs), and RRB NTPC (Junior Clerk, Trains Clerk) are entry points. For graduates: SSC CGL (Group B/C central posts), IBPS PO and SBI PO (banking officer roles), IBPS Clerk and SBI Clerk (banking clerical), RRB NTPC graduate-level posts (Station Master, Goods Guard), and UPSC CSE (the apex civil services).
For aspiring teachers: CTET is the eligibility test for teaching in central government schools and most state/private CBSE-affiliated schools. CTET certificate is now valid for lifetime, so clearing it once opens doors to KVS, NVS, Army Public Schools and many private school recruitments.
Each exam has a distinct selection style — SSC focuses on objective tests with no interview, UPSC CSE has descriptive Mains plus Personality Test, banking exams add Group Exercise (SBI PO) or scaling-based merit (IBPS PO), and RRB NTPC uses massive multi-shift CBT with normalisation.
