About NDA & Naval Academy Examination (NDA & NA) 2026

NDA 2026 (National Defence Academy) exam is conducted twice a year by UPSC to recruit candidates for the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force academies. NDA I 2026 was held in April 2026 and NDA II 2026 will be held in September 2026. Candidates who qualify the written exam are called for SSB (Services Selection Board) Interview conducted by respective forces. NDA is the gateway to becoming an officer in India's armed forces.

NDA 2026 written exam consists of Mathematics (300 marks, 2.5 hours) and General Ability Test (600 marks, 2.5 hours). There is negative marking: 1/3rd for wrong answers.
