About JEE Main 2026 (Session 1 & 2)
JEE Main Admit Card 2026 — NTA (National Testing Agency) releases JEE Main Session 1 admit card in December 2025 / January 2026 and Session 2 admit card in March–April 2026 on jeemain.nta.ac.in. JEE Main Admit Card is mandatory for entry to exam. Without it, candidates are not allowed inside. JEE Main 2026 has 2 sessions — Session 1 (January/February) and Session 2 (April). Candidates can appear in both sessions; the better of the two scores is counted for the final NTA Score used in JoSAA counselling for IIT/NIT/IIIT admissions.
JEE Main Admit Card 2026 contains: Application Number, Candidate's Name, Roll Number, Exam Date and Shift, Exam Centre City and Full Address, Candidate Photo and Signature, Important Instructions. NTA conducts JEE Main across 500+ centres in India and abroad (select countries). Exam shift: Morning (9:00–12:00) or Afternoon (3:00–6:00). Reporting time is 2 hours before exam start (i.e., 7:00 AM for morning shift).

What to Do Next – After Downloading Admit Card
JEE Main 2026 exam day preparation: Carry printed admit card (both copies) + original photo ID (Aadhaar/Passport/Driving License). NO mobile phones or electronic devices. Rough sheets will be provided at the centre — return them. Physics (30Q), Chemistry (30Q), Mathematics (30Q) — each paper has 20 MCQ + 10 Integer type (attempt 5 of 10). JEE Main score ≥ 70–75 percentile usually qualifies for JEE Advanced (top 2.5 lakh).
